1. HAVE FUN:
Have fun, meet new people, and don't worry about being a great player or having the most kills. Just be a friendly person. Treat other players as you want to be treated, ie with respect and understanding.
That is what brought us all together in the first place. That is where our roots are and that is what we need to maintain.
There is no smack talking, flaming or anything derrogatory said by, to or about a [TFA] member or other players. this is unacceptable and punishable by demotion, or if the behavior warrants, dismissal.

2. Respect Everybody
Members are expected to treat everbody with the same respect as they would like to treated at least. Racism or any other rude/inapropriate behaviour will not be condoned.
There are women in this organization. It is in everyones best interest to treat them with respect. On the occasion that someone is disrespecting them, it is EVERYONES responsibility to request that said individual give the ladies respect. Even in fun, respect cannot be overlooked. We are also a chivalrous organization. Respect these ladies.
Never, under any circumstances is it ok to bad mouth a fellow clan member or people in public. If you have an issue with another member contact an higher ranking officer.
bove all, maintain an honest and positive attitude towards your fellow members and the general public. We are HONORABLE people.
Every day we will most likely each meet our fair share of jerks while playing, There is no need to stoop to their level and be just as childish. Just keep playing and let them rant, and if it persists the highest in rank will take care of it. On an mature fashion.

3. JUST LET US KNOW:
Feel free to play with Members as often or as little as you like. There is no required meetings at this time. Although if you are going to be away from playing for a while, your friends would appreciate a little note on the Clan Message Board, something like "Going on vacation, cya in 3 weeks."
You can do that at the forum at the Administration Office section.

4. [TFA] TAGS WILL HELP:
Using tags while gaming helps distinguishing the squad and help us gain people to play with in the future. There are many more reasons, you will see with time.

5. MEET PEOPLE ON Ventrilo :
You might like to hang out on the Ventrilo Channels, even if no one else is on it, because [TFA] Members can drop by any moment. The Ventrilo CHAT Channel is a good place to meet the Members and introduce yourself to them. Its a good place to find people and get into a game.

6. GUESTS:
COUNCIL Members or Drill Sergeants can make someone a [TFA]GUEST (a "GUEST of the TFA Clan) --IF-- that person has followed ALL of the instructions on our forums Guestpage and REQUESTED a Guestpass. .

7. PLAY AS A CLAN:
In the future, we will often join an empty server and wait for others to join us. We normally play on the blue team as our default team, but in this situation it may be necessary for a few players to temporarly go to the red team for a while until more non-[TFA] get on the server. If you do do this, normally most members will expect it while there are no other players, but make it clear to everyone on the Ventrilo channel that you are changing sides (remember you're still on the Roger Wilco channel and so can hear and be heard by the 'enemy' team). Once more players have joined or a senior member of the Clan tells everyone to reform on the blue team, you should immediately move back over to blue.

ALWAYS "TRY" to play together as a Clan , play on the same team when possible and use Ventrilo as a Clan. Please alert your Team Members to enemy threats

EVERYONE is EXPECTED to play fairly and act maturely while gaming and using Ventrilo as a Clan.

8. Ventrilo Voice Activation & SPEAKERS:

Please DO NOT use the VOICE ACTIVATION feature on Ventrilo -IF- you are using SPEAKERS, PLEASE. The sound from your speakers will (unknowingly to you) cause Ventrilo to transmit YOUR game sounds to EVERYBODY else on Ventrilo channel. THIS IS VERY ANNOYING and is considered rude.
If you chose to use voice activation , please make sure you sensitivity isnt set too low. Thanks in advance.

9. ANNOUNCE YOUR SELF ON Ventrilo:

When you come on to the our Ventrilo channel, please announce your self by saying "This is insert game name, hello everybody". If you have to leave the computer please announce that also. Just say " This is insert game name, . Please try to be curtious to your Ventrilo users.

10. Ventrilo CHATTING & GAMES:
If a lot of people are on the [TFA]Ventrilo CHAT Channel (chatting and playing games and mic checking), please suggest moving the GAME talking to one of the [TFA]Ventrilo GAME Channels . Inform everybody of what you are doing. Then, if new people get on and want to play , people that are still on the CHAT channnel can direct them to where the game is at .

On a Ventrilo GAME Channel, if their are other people on the Ventrilo Game Channel that are in a game, please try to keep the general bull shting, flirting, tech talk, etc. (non-game talk) to a minimum . If you want to discuss a non-game topic with someone on Ventrilo while other people are trying to play a game, please go to the Chilling &Chatting Channel , then come back to the GAME Channels when you are ready to play.

11. ALL members MUST have Ventrilo And Xfire. That is the form of communication the [TFA] members use and therefore, it is REQUIRED. It is a free download at www.Ventrilo.com and at www.xfire.com

12. RE-KEYING ON Ventrilo / READING IPs:
Each of the 4 parts of an IP number are each called an " OCTET ". Each octet has a " . " (dot) at the end of it. When reading the game server's IP, press your Roger Wilco transmit button, then wait a second then read the first octet ( VERY SLOWLY), then say "dot', then wait another second, then release the transmit button, then RE-press the transmit button, then wait a second , then read the second octet, then say 'Dot', then wait a second, then release the transmit button.,,,,,keep repeating this until all octets have been read. Read the complete IP number AT LEAST 2 times.

Tell people how many times you are going to RE-read it before you start.

With team members all over the World, some people might not hear the transmissions as clear as others, talking slow and re-keying will help them.

13. You MUST check forums regularly.....we do not expect of members to live on the forums , but you MUST check forums frequently. (Think of once or twice a week )
This will allow us to organise ourselves and communicate with eachother more efficiently, leaving more time for us all to game.Besides the fact that having to instruct all members mouth by mouth is much more time consuming, this will also allow other members having same

14. NO RANK TAGS IN [TFA]:
There is no "RANK" displayed in the [TFA] Clan (example : there are no Captain EVILs or General DeathAXEs). If someone already has a Rank as a part of their game name, then that will be allowed (Example: Captain Courageous, Colonel Klink, General Patton, Sargent Rock, etc,etc) .

There are NO "TAGS" allowed in the [TFA] Clan other than : additional teamtags like [TFA]#CB [TFA]#LRRP. (Example: there are NO "[TFA]Sgt.EVIL" or "[TFA]Capt.EVIL"or [TFA]EVIL or etc, even if someone is a Drill Sergeant or a TEAM Captain in game.

If you are on our Ventrilo Clan Server, PLEASE use your [TFA] TAG.

15.Never under any circumstances will anyone impersonate an officer. We have assigned you a rank. That is what you will keep until promoted by a superior officer. Impersonating an officer is also punishable by demotion or dismissal.

16. WRITE DOWN IPs:
If someone else is reading out the IP numbers TO YOU , YOU need to WRITE the the IP numbers down, that way if your computer locks up you will not have to have the IP number read to you again.

17. DO NOT INTERUPT SOMEONE READING IPs:
If someone is reading out an IP number it is considered VERY RUDE to INTERUPT them (especially when it might be 7 other people are trying to hear it ). DO NOT INTERUPT when some one is reading an IP number, PLEASE !

18. POST MESSAGES, NOT SPAM:

If you have some thing that you feel is valuable ( a URL, info, demo, program, technic, etc., etc.) please share it with the Clan on the forums, but please becareful, do NOT SPAM us (ICQ or Email, etc). "

We have the Clan Message Board(forum) for posting tips and tricks. Its also a good place to post long explainations or descriptions or request for help or the solutions to Clan / your problems.

19. TRY NOT TO BE RUDE:

[TFA] members joke around with another a lot, please try not to be too rude or annoying to one another. Try to keep it one big happy family please.

20. HACKERS ARE GONE:

IF you Hack another member's computers , you will be IMMEDIATELY kicked out of the clan.

21. TRY NOT TO CUSS:

Please TRY to keep the swearing , cussing, profantities, name calling, whineing (i.e. about lag) to a minium. Remember YOU will appear to represent ALL of us if you have the [TFA] tag in front of your name. Please TRY to set a good example in the chat rooms and in games.Try to keep the cussing to a minium on the Ventrilo channels.

22. TRY TO SET A GOOD EXAMPLE:

ALL of US should KICK some BUTT when we play together ! If someone needs help please help them. If someone needs "CORRECTing", please politely correct them .

23. CLAN MATCHES :

All Offical challenges for Clan Wars will be handeled by the Warrofficers assigned per game.

24. YOU CAN NOT BE IN ANY OTHER CLAN

To ensure %100 LOYALTY to the [TFA]community , its Members are NOT allowed to be in any other Clans .
If you are member of another clan, you have to QUIT the other Clan BEFORE you can join [TFA]. It is a leap of faith on your part and shows that you truely want to be a dedicated Member of [TFA].joining another clan once you are in [TFA] means you are automatically ressigning from [TFA].

25. USE ONE NAME :

Please change your GAME NAME , your VENTRILO NAME , and your XFIRE NICKNAME to the SAME NAME .

If you are on a [TFA]Ventrilo Channel, PLEASE use your [TFA] TAG.

We have this RULE to make it a lot less confusing for everybody, they only have to use or learn ONE name for each Member.
Every [TFA] member is expected to wear the [TFA] tag on the forums , xfire and in-game. This will help us recognise teammates easier, allow us to distinguish ourselves from other teams, be able to play as a team better and much more.
[TFA]teams will have an additional team tag added to distinguish the various members and teams.

26. HARD WORKERS ARE REWARDED AND WANTED:

From time to time yW [TFA] Members will be evaluated on their past preformance and selected for [TFA] Clan Postions of Authority.

27. IF YOU SAY GOODBYE:

If you decide that you do not want to be in the [TFA] Community anymore please Email US ,or let us know by the forum.

28. TELL ON THE BAD BOYS:

If you feel that someone in [TFA] is not conducting themselves properly, bring it to the attention of the [TFA] Sergeants . Drill Sergeants will correct a Member who is not acting approriately, Please.

Major problems should be brought to the attention of the COUNCIL as soon as possible by posting messsages on the Message Board. If needed the Major Problem will removed from the Clan.

29. NEVER GIVE OUT PASSWORDS:

NEVER give out a [TFA] Clan password or SECRET URL (web address) to ANYone including other Members of the Clan, Drill Sergeants, or EVEN COUNCIL Members.

To ensure that NO one is ever TRICKED into sending their password out to a hacker, NO one is allowed to "SECOND-HAND" give out Passwords or SECRET URLs (web addresses).

Passwords will come from ONE direction ,

-FROM- [TFA]SERGEANTs-TO- you .
Our passwords are private. They are for clan members only. Do not give out passwords to non clan members. Doing so is grounds for instant removal. Same goes for server information or anything other sensitive material related to [TFA]Resources.

31. PROMOTIONS:

See the [TFA] "Clan Structure" page on HOW to get PROMOTED and WHO does the PROMOTING.

32. WHO IS IN CHARGE:

See the Clan STRUCTURE Page.

33. If you participate in another teams event or chose to play in another game then you normally do, Please adapt to the dedicated teammembers of that game.
Your free to hook up with other teams as a matter of fact that is only encouraged, however we expect members from other games to comply with instructions of an higher ranking officer assigned to that game.
This way gameplay wont get disrupted and we will prevent any griefs or disputes.

34. HOW TO EVEN TEAMS:

( BEFORE YOU SWITCH: )

A.If at all possible, ALWAYS STAY on (or "TRY" to get EVERYone on) the [TFA] Ventrilo channels, on the SAME TEAM of the game server .

B. IF the teams are "UN-EVEN", everyone should ask people, that are NOT on the Ventrilo (by their game name), to PLEASE SWITCH go to the OTHER team. Please include the word "PLEASE" when you ask.

C. If a "NON-Ventrilo guy" switches teams to even them, everyone, please type to "THANK them" afterwards.

D. If SEVERAL people help by asking "NON-Ventrilo guys" to switch over, 80% of the time, the teams will get evened this way, and everyone on our Roger Wilco channel will be on the same team.

E. IF you absolutely have to go to the other team to even them, DO NOT GET OFF OUR Ventrilo server, just please switch channels

( COMING BACK: )

F. IF YOU are the one that switches to the enemy team, YOU will be RESPONSIBLE for making sure, that AS SOON as possible, YOU come back to the the [TFA] Clan team. YOU will have to be CONSTANTLY WATCHING the teams for an opportunity to switch back to our team. You might politely ask others to help you too.

34. POST YOUR QUESTION/ ASK A SERGEANT:

If you have a PROBLEM or a QUESTION, simply post a message on the [TFA] Clan Message Board.

The [TFA] Drill SERGEANTs and COUNCIL Members read the Message Board every day, so BE PATEINT PLEASE ? They will deal with your problem as soon as they get to it. Members or GUESTs or Friends of the Clan will also be able to read about your problem and might also be able to help you if they can, that way too. ALSO, you MIGHT have SEVERAL people help you at once, that way.ALSO , OTHER people MIGHT have the same problem as you and this way several people might be able to be helped at once.

IF NO one has helped you a DAY after posting your message, then ""ASK A SERGEANT "". Ask for help if you need it, but Please do not waste their time.

NOTE: ALL PERSONAL Questions should be sent DIRECTLY to a Drill SERGEANT or Higher ranking member.You do NOT have to post PERSONAL Questions on the Message Board.

35. A CLAN IS GIVE AND TAKE:
Ask your self from time to time "What have I done for my Clan and for fellow Clan members lately ? "

NEED HELP ?

Clan members, if you need help with something look on the ROSTER page under "Special Skills " for help from a fellow [TFA] Member .

(i.e. Help with : ICQ, Ventrilo,games, Windows, Computer Hardware, anti-Hacking/Virus, free Personal web pages, free Game Name Email accounts, Custom Logos, etc., etc.)

One of the many advantages of a Clan is the help that flows freely, so PLEASE HELP when called upon with all reasonable requests AND feel free to ASK for HELP yourself. If you dont know who to ask for help on an unlisted subject just post a request on the Clan Message Board.

Remember to say "PLEASE" and "THANK YOU" when somebody helps you .

36. Last but not least, Cheatings in any kind is grounds for removal from [TFA] and will be banned from all servers as well.
